Uniforms built around your team

Patients form an impression of a practice before anyone speaks, and the uniform is the first thing they see. It tells them whether the team is clean, capable and well looked after.
Comfortextiles™ supplies hospitals, clinics, dental and aesthetic practices, pharmacies and laboratories across Switzerland with complete medical uniform programmes. One programme means one consistent look: the same fabrics, colours and embroidery on every garment, in the right fit for every person who wears it.
We don’t send a catalogue and hope for the best. We bring real fabrics to your premises, so your team can see and feel them before you decide.

What a uniform programme can include

  • Scrubs, tunics and trousers for clinical teams
  • Doctor’s coats and lab coats
  • Polo shirts for reception, therapy and support staff
  • Colour coding by role or department
  • Embroidered logos and names on every garment
Why Comfortextiles™

Made for daily clinical work

A uniform that looks right on day one and tired after twenty washes costs more than it saves. We choose fabrics around how your clinic actually works and launders. A 2026 Swiss hospital tender asks for the same things, and we plan every programme against them.

Our approach

A local partner, not a webshop

Founded in Zürich, Comfortextiles™ brings more than seven years of experience across the full production chain — from fabric sourcing and sample development to production and quality control.

You get one contact person who knows your order, answers questions immediately and checks every delivery before it leaves.

We help you weigh the trade-offs. A softer, stretchier fabric feels better on a long shift but may need gentler laundering, while a hard-wearing blend suits industrial washing but feels firmer. We show you both in the samples, so the decision is yours and made with your laundry route in mind.

Every garment is checked before it leaves us. Our uniforms are professional workwear: surgical gowns and protective equipment fall under separate standards and come from medical suppliers. Fabric certificates are available on request.

FAQ

Medical uniforms: common questions

Do you visit clinics outside Zürich?

Yes. We visit clinics, hospitals and practices anywhere in Switzerland to present fabric and embroidery samples in person.

Can we add our logo to the uniforms?

Yes. We embroider your logo, clinic name or staff names on every garment, so the whole team looks consistent.

Can you supply our whole team in different sizes?

Yes. We work with custom sizes and fits, so every member of staff, from reception to surgery, gets a uniform that fits.

How does ordering work?

After your enquiry we arrange a consultation, develop samples for your approval, produce your order and check every garment before delivery.

What are the best medical uniforms in Switzerland?

The best medical uniforms are the ones that suit your team’s work, your laundry process and your budget over several years. Look for breathable fabric that survives frequent hot washing, opaque white and light colours, and a fit range that covers every employee. Comfortextiles™ builds programmes around those criteria and shows you real samples first.

How many uniform sets does each team member need?

Plan at least three sets per person: one worn, one in the wash and one spare. Many clinics order four or five for full-time staff who change daily or work long shifts. Your laundry cycle, shift pattern and hygiene policy decide the exact number, and we can help you work it out.

How long does a custom order take, and is there a minimum?

Typical delivery time is around 4–8 weeks from sample approval, depending on fabric availability, order quantity and embroidery requirements. Minimum order quantities may vary depending on the selected uniforms and customisation. We confirm the expected delivery schedule and order details in your quote before you commit, helping you plan ahead for new starters, team uniform updates or a clinic opening.

What is the difference between scrubs, tunics and lab coats?

Scrubs are a matching top and trousers worn by clinical staff, and a tunic is the top on its own. A lab or doctor’s coat is a longer, collared coat worn over clothing or scrubs. Polo shirts suit reception and therapy teams who don’t need a clinical look.
